Vote for us in the UK Blog awards. Pretty pretty please…
The UK Blog Awards recognise the innovation and originality of digital copywriting across a wide variety of topics. That’s why we are proud to say that The Typeface Group Marketing Blog is in the running in the PR, Media, Marketing and Communication category.
Whether we are finalists for the UK Blog Awards 2018 is up to you as the awards are now open to a public vote. After the votes are cast, a panel of industry experts will judge a shortlist according to strict criteria of design, style, content, marketing and usability. Then, early next year, the winners will be announced.
Here’s a reason or two about why you should vote for us in the UK Blog Awards 2018.
We practice what we preach
The Typeface Group help companies of all shapes and sizes to hone their online presence and build a loyal audience, which often involves running a blog. We do the exactly the same. On our marketing blog we share industry insight, showcase examples of best practice and offer friendly, informative advice on how businesses can make the most of their owned communication channels. Our blog ensures that we are part of the discussion. We want to be seen as on top of our game, with a wealth of knowledge on all things digital and our own blog is the perfect platform for us to do so.
We keep it real
Team TFG is not afraid to share our views on what’s happening in the digital or offline world. We do this to demonstrate the personality and passion within the team. Every member of staff creates content on the area of the business which they take ownership of. It is also a great platform for guest posts from a range of associates and supporters. In the past, this has included a post on video production and even content created by our work experience with the team.
We keep it fresh
The design of the blog is hand in hand with the fresh look of the rest of the business – bright, minimal and modern. The company’s signature colours of charcoal, teal, white and pink feature heavily to ensure continuity. Enticing images accompany each blog post. The look and feel of the blog is kept consistent as it sits on The Typeface Group’s main website with visible navigation from the homepage.
We don’t stand still
In 2017 we entered the UK Blog Awards. And we were delighted to make it to the finals although sadly we didn’t win. However, we learnt a lot about how to make our blog even better and more competitive. The focus is now on quality over quantity and have big plans for the future of the blog, including vlogging. We know the importance of video for SEO purposes as well as to engage with a new generation of business owners who welcome that style of content. The business is growing and the ways in which we offer content will grow with it.
So, if you think The Typeface Group deserve a place in the finals at the UK Blog Awards, vote for us here and spread the word using #UKBA18 across social media. The public vote is open until Friday 22 December 2017. Thank you.
