INSPIRE Business Awards 2015 Social Media Sponsor
2014 INSPIRE Business Awards winner, The Typeface Group, has been appointed as the first ever official social media partner, helping to promote the awards to a wider audience in 2015.
The previous winner of ‘New Business of the Year’, The Typeface Group, an integrated design, marketing and digital communications company based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, is running the day-to-day social media promotion and will be tweeting live from the event at the INSPIRE business awards on Thursday, November 12th, at Highfield Park.
This is the first time INSPIRE has partnered with an external agency to help promote the awards via social media. Early indications show impressive results, with a 400% increase in Twitter profile visits (June-August), 900% increase in interactions, and a huge month-on-month increase, from 2,677 to 25.7k, on the number of times updates are viewed.
Kathryn Price organiser for the INSPIRE business awards says:
“I am delighted to be working with the Typeface Group to reach a wider audience on social media. The results show that this has had a significant impact already in spreading the word about why businesses should enter the awards.
We are very lucky to be able to work with our previous winners, it helps to make the awards programme better and in turn, Inspire business awards benefits from their expert knowledge”.
In addition to the role as an official social media partner, The Typeface Group has four shortlisted clients in this year’s awards: iWaste, Bubblegum Balloons, The Sun Inn, and Jay Archer Floral Design & Flower School.
Managing director, Polly Buckland, says:
“Winning INSPIRE last year did wonders for our business. It raised our profile and gained us new clients in the area. We’re delighted to grow the interest in this year’s awards via our social media partnership, and as the results already show, the potential is huge. With four of our clients shortlisted, it promises to be a great evening.”
