Copy & Content Marketing Executive

We have filled all our roles but here is our most recent job spec for a  Copy and Content Marketing Executive.

£25 – 30k FTE & depending on experience 

The Typeface Group is an award-winning, BCorp-certified B2B comms agency with a design studio that delivers flexible marketing support to ambitious organisations in the Built, FM and Clean Energy space. We are seeking a Copy and Content Marketing Executive to fill an exciting role in our company.

This role is evolving quickly and so needs someone happy to get stuck to delivery from the get-go, to support our new product CoFlow, and to be part of shaping the content team of the future. 

We are a fully remote team (for now), and our main operations are run via Google (Gmail / Chats / Space / Drive). We will supply the tech you need to carry out your role comfortably and efficiently if needed.

This role is initially a fixed-term 6-month contract for up to 18 hours per week, and we are flexible about how that 18 hours will look. This role could be extended, become permanent or full-time after the initial 6 months.

The role will involve:

+ Planning – brainstorming ideas with the team for clients
+ A curious mind – create questions to get the most out of a client during discovery calls and CoFlow interviews
+ Writing content for clients – blogs, web copy, marketing materials and emails
+ Proofing and sense-checking –  work created by clients and TFG
+ Teamwork – Working with Account Manager and SEO Lead to create valuable content
+ Email – Writing, knowledge of how to build emails (from a template) and send them is an advantage


+ 2 + years of copywriting work experience – please send links to work
+ Excellent communications skills
+ Ability to work as part of a team and problem-solve when required
+ Willingness to speak to clients when required
+ Ability to prioritise workload
+ Be able to take feedback 
+ Keep up to speed with industry innovations and trends
+ Employee advocacy


+ B2B agency experience.
+ Knowledge of SEO principles that apply to web copy/content
+ Knowledge of renewable energy, housing or retrofit space
+ Email experience 
+ Knowledge or experience with HubSpot
+ Lives within 30 miles of Basingstoke and can attend weekly team face-to-face meetings
